The Mission:

To help people preserve the personal stories behind the songs that shape their lives.

Melody Lane will blend music recognition, memory journaling, and voice technology into a soulful, intuitive app. Users will be able to identify and save songs to a personal playlist via voice command (Spotify or Apple Music may be linked), then instantly record or write down the memories they evoke. Over time, users build a personal, shareable library of songs tied to meaningful moments—like a musical memoir or a digital mixed tape.

We believe in:

  • Memory accessibility – helping users of all ages, especially caregivers and older adults, hold onto what matters

  • Emotional wellness – using music and storytelling to support reflection, healing, and joy

  • Digital storytelling – preserving memories for future generations in a format that’s easy, beautiful, and personal

Whether you're capturing the song that played at your wedding, remembering your dad’s favorite artist, or just journaling your present-day moments, Melody Lane will assist you in preserving your music-linked stories.

A memory. A melody.

A moment worth saving.

Melody Lane began with a simple truth: music is one of memory’s strongest triggers.
For as long as I can remember, songs have been more than background noise—they’ve marked chapters in my life. Each melody carried a story: first dances, road trips, moments of joy, and times of sadness.

But I have also seen how quickly those stories can fade.
In my own family, I’ve seem family members face the challenges of memory loss. I witnessed how music could spark recognition and joy—even when words were hard to find. I wondered if a single song could bridge generations, reconnecting loved ones across time and memory. Could music help with memory and memory retention? Could memories linked to music be used as a way to connect with loved ones and friends?

These questions guided me to this:
What if there was a way to preserve those music-triggered memories before they slipped away?

From that question, Melody Lane was born.

It started as a small idea for an app that would let people tie their memories to the songs that shaped their lives. Over time, the vision grew: not just a music app, not just a journal, but a personal soundtrack of your life, easy to capture, organize, and share.

Melody Lane is more than technology—it’s a movement to keep memories alive through music. It’s for families who want to hold onto their loved ones’ stories, for caregivers seeking connection, and for anyone who wants to preserve the soundtrack of their life.

Because when words fade, music remembers. And now, with your support, Melody Lane will too.
